What is ROI?
Return on Investment (ROI) measures the profitability of an investment relative to its cost. A positive ROI means you made money; a negative ROI means you lost money. The higher the ROI, the better the investment.
For marketing campaigns, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is a related metric that measures gross revenue generated per dollar spent on advertising. A ROAS of 4 means you earn $4 for every $1 spent on ads.
